2.1 Products sold by the company ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, are destined to people and companies. Shipping will have to take place in the client’s country of residence.
2.2 The types of tyres sold on the ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA website are exclusively new tyres. ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA does not sell used or retreaded tyres. The characteristics of the products presented on the website can change over time. The pictures of the tyres are non-binding.
2.3 Given the specificity and the highly technical nature of products sold by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, the client is expected to strictly adhere to the instructions and recommendations concerning safety and reliability. This includes use (vehicle, inflation, pressure, speed rating and load index etc), mounting and storage of the product. ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA is in no way liable for poorly mounted tyres or other products by third party or damage caused by use under abnormal conditions.
2.4 No stock.
Considering the important volume of daily order processing, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA does not guarantee absolute availability of products and services ordered. In case of no stock, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will contact the client at its earliest convenience in order to suggest a change of reference (stock) or a cancellation. In case of an order modification, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will adjust the amount (overdue/due) according to the new reference (stock) chosen and will confirm the modified order by email. In the event that the Online Shopper has already paid for his order, and stock had become unavailable, for any reason whatsoever, prior to & after the payment of said order being confirmed, due to sell out, availability or any other valid reason or reasons, ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, shall refund the online shopper at full order value,via EFT.
3.1 Order Registration. Orders must be placed on the sales site on ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA. The site on which the order is placed must be that applying to the tax invoice address, residence and customer delivery country.
3.2 Order confirmation
Order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of registration of the order, by automatic email, to the email address supplied by the customer.
Orders are processed only after receipt of payment and crediting funds in the amount stated on the invoice. Any order, for which payment is not made within seven days of receipt by the customer of the order confirmation, will be automatically cancelled.
3.3 Order modification
Information supplied by the customer, when placing the order, is binding. In the event of an error in the wording of the email address or recipients details, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA cannot be held liable for its inability to confirm the order or make delivery. No change of delivery address for the package(s) can be taken into account, once it has been paid for and intransit. The customer may, however, at his own risk, request a change of delivery address from the transport company. In that case, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA cannot be held responsible for any delivery error or loss of the package(s) by the transport company.
No modification of the order details (size, make, profile, invoicing or delivery address) is possible after receipt of payment by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA.
In the event of an error in one of these mentioned details, the customer must contact the ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA customer service, using the contact form which indicates the procedure and conditions for cancellation and reimbursement of the order. (See article 7 – Cancellation)
3.4 Refusal of order processing
ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA reserves the right to refuse any order from a client for legitimate reasons.
3.5 Back orders. ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA are willing to place any product, not currently available, on back order. This facility is available once a minimum of 50% deposit is paid and received. ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will confirm this back order after a firm order has been placed. Pricing differential of the back ordered part/s will be advised if any price increase has been implemented on these part/s and the difference outstanding to be paid on stock arrival at ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA and prior to delivery to the online customer.
4. Price and payment
4.1 Prices given on the website of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA are expressed in South African Rand and include V.A.T.
4.2 ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA has the right & reserves the right to modify its prices according to supply and demand. The price to pay is the listed price as of the date of payment. (conditions apply)
4.3 Payment by credit card. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. For security reasons, we only accept 3D secure credit cards & do not accept cheques as a form of payment. If you do not have a credit card please utilize one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order.
- Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are128 bitSecure Socket Layers(SSL)encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
- Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
- Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.
4.4 Payment by bank Transfer (E.F.T) Electronic Funds Transfer.
The client should refer to the "Payment Information” section to obtain the banking details for ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA. The order will not be considered valid until ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA’s bank has received confirmed payment. (Allow 3 to 4 business days excluding Saturday, Sunday & public holidays for transfers) Orders are processed only after corresponding payment is received. Any order for which payment is not received within 7 days will be automatically cancelled.
Refunds/returns Policy. (Excluding Mag wheels)
Should you, for any reason, wish to cancel your purchase, after delivery has been made, you will be liable for a 10% handling fee of the products supplied only. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned undamaged & unfitted to us or our supplier, and must be insured, both at your cost, with all accessories supplied, in the original packaging within 14 calendar days. No credit will be passed on original delivery charges and insurance, if opted for. Free delivery items and insurance, if returned after delivery, will attract delivery charges to and from your designated address plus re-packaging charges from the manufacturer. These charges will be advised as and when applicable. On receipt of the suppliers credit note, the refund, less necessary deductions will be processed.
A maximum of a 5% handling fee or minimum of R 250.00 will be deducted off the original amount paid if goods have not been delivered prior to cancellation of order. This is basically the recovery of bank charges levied against Errols Tyres Online South Africa for credit card and/or EFT transactions, plus incidental recovery cost of phone calls, SMS correspondence, etc
Thereafter, all approved monetary refunds will be processed via EFT after confirmation of banking details are obtained, in writing, from the original purchaser only.
* Note: If original delivery was made by our appointed courier company, Errols Tyres Online South Africa recommends that you use the same courier services for all returns as it offers shipment tracking through a 24 hours online customer helpline. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered. Return costs will be for the purchasers account paid direct to our courier company (or any other courier company) prior to collection for return. Insurance, on all returned goods from the original purchaser, must be taken out. Failure to do so will invalidate any claim should goods on return delivery be damaged.
FREE DELIVERY ITEMS: In the event that the goods purchased were delivered by one of Errol's Tyres Online's suppliers, free of charge, the supplier in question will make arrangements for collection of such goods. Cost of original delivery and return will be deducted off the amount paid for the item, prior to refund, less any further costs involved in this return. The goods must be returned to our supplier, undamaged & unfitted, with all accessories supplied, in the original packaging.
Please note that prices may change at month end. All firm orders not received and paid for before month end will be subject to new prices, if applicable.
Any product shipped to client remains the property of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA until fully paid for.
6. Shipping / Delivery
Subject to the CPA, and although ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will endeavour to deliver the products according to the client’s requirements, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will not be bound to such delivery requirements and accordingly ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for failure or delay in delivery. The shipping address communicated by the client must be in the same country as the invoice address, which must be the client’s country of residence.
6.1 Shipping cost, where applicable, is calculated from the client’s delivery address and added to the tax invoice. Certain components are shipped free of charge and will be indicated so, by line item, on the website.
6.1.1 Fitment Partnersare being recruited and where applicable and dependent on manufacturer of Tyre, shipping will be free of charge, if a fitment partner is so chosen. Delivery to a chosen fitment partner shall take between 2 and 3 business days (excludes Saturday, Sunday & public holidays) from confirmation of payment. Costs of fitment are to be negotiated between the online shopper and the relevant fitment partner and Errol's Tyres Online South Africa shall not be involved in such negotiations whatsoever, Should the Online Shopper require free shipment to one of our recommended Fitment Partners ,they do so in indicating that shipping charges will not be levied. Should the Online Shopper decline fitment, shipping charges will be added. Errol's Tyres Online South Africa will not be held liable or responsible for any and all resultant damage by means of defective fitment procedures. Further, should the Online Shopper request free shipment via the order form, and then decline fitting at the selected Fitment Partner, a handling charge will be raised by the Fitment Partner to the equivalent of delivery charges and / or not less than the value of R 100.00 plus vat per tyre ordered.
6.1.2 Export & Recipient Import Duties & Tax's Payable.
Note must be taken that when exporting goods out of South Africa, import duties and taxes and other related charges may be payable by the Online Shopper (recipient of goods). It is the responsibility of the Online Shopper (recipient) to confirm with their respective countries authorities, all costs that may be payable to their local countries import authorities, before release of goods to themselves. Please note that Errols Tyres Online South Africa will NOT accept any responsibility nor entertain any responsibility for any and all foreign country import duties, taxes, customs or other storage charges and / or any other related charges imposed prior to delivery or collection by the recipient / online shopper of delivered order, for whatever reason whatsoever.
6.2 Late delivery.
Delivery time ranges from three (3) to five (5) business days, excluding Saturday, Sunday & public holidays, and is given as an estimate only. Consequently, a longer delivery time can in no way result in rebates or cancellation of orders.
6.3 Delivery notification
Delivery is conducted by a transport company under contract with Mojuca Shelf 1 cc. In the case of client absence on delivery, the delivery person is supposed to leave a delivery notice in the client’s mailbox. The client should then contact the service delivery hotline of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA by contact form or the transport company within 3 to 4 days after initial attempt of delivery.
After this deadline, if no response has been received from the client, the products supplied will be returned to ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA warehouse.
In that case, return cost fees equivalent to original delivery costs minimum, tax included, per unit product, will be at the expense of the client and will be deducted from the credit return/refund. Client will be informed of the actual return fee applicable.
6.4 Delivery to a fitting centre of choice (Fitment Partner)
The client has the option to choose a fitting centre/shop or fitment partner for the shipping and fitting of their purchase. To qualify for this free delivery, fitting must be done in that specific fitting centre at the clients own cost. It is the client’s duty to contact the fitting centre before fitment to ensure that they and he agree to fitment prices. It is mandatory that the client checks the products before fitting is undertaken. In the case of mistake in the product, whatever it may be, the products will not be accepted back for refund by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA where products have been mounted partially or fully fitted.
Definition and Clarification of a Fitment Partner: All Fitment partners are independent business's who have signed up with ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE South Africa for the sole purpose of fitting products purchased by the online shopper. All products delivered to Fitment Partners, free of delivery charges to the online shopper, will attract fitting or labour charges and must be paid by the online shopper direct to the Fitment Partner. If the online shopper refuses to have fitment conducted, delivery charges will be applicable prior to delivery being made. Please note that the Fitment Partners are not a warehouse or collection point.
6.5 Partial delivery.(Refer para 6.8)
In case of missing products at the time of delivery, the client must make mention of this in writing on the delivery receipt or waybill provided by the delivery person. The client must then immediately inform the Customer services of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA of his/her concerns by using the appropriate contact form or by registered mail, addressed to ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, P.O.Box 7538, East London, 5200, South Africa, within 7 (seven) days after delivery.
After investigation of missing products reveals that that is the case & subject to insurance cover being opted for, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will then ship the missing product/s, after insurance claim has been implemented, at no additional cost to the client, after the insured repays Errols Tyres Online South Africa for further shipment, with immediate effect.
Attention! If nothing is indicated or noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will not take any complaint into consideration.
6.6 Damaged products or non-matching to order products. (Refer para 6.8)
In the case of delivery damaged or non-matching products received, the client has the right to refuse delivery and must make mention of this in writing on the delivery receipt or waybill provided by the delivery person. Should the client accept the delivery, the client must make note of the complaint of damage on the delivery receipt or wabill supplied by the delivery person. The client has 7 (seven) days to fully check the merchandise and make claim to customer service of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA of his/her concerns by using the Contact form, or by registered mail addresses to ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, P.O. Box 7538, East London, 5200, South Africa.
It is mandatory that the client check his product himself before signing the waybill in the presence of the delivery company driver and before fitting is done. In the case of mistake in the product shipped, product will not be taken back or refunded AFTER mounting.
ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA is committed to take back free of charge unfitted, undamaged products or non-matching products and will ship new products in the best possible deadline, subject to notification in writing made on the delivery/waybill of such damage.
6.7 It is the sole responsibility of the client to check that products supplied are the same as products ordered. In view of the huge diversity of tyre sizes that are fitted to all makes and models of vehicles, ERROL'S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA cannot & will not be held responsible for incorrectly ordered tyre or rim sizes by the client and or any consequential vehicle damage caused thereby, if the ordered tyre size is the same as the correct tyre size supplied and correctly delivered. Furthermore, it is explicitly the sole resposibility of the online shopper to ensure that the tyre size ordered is the correct tyre size as originally fitted to their current vehicle.
6.8 Loss of consignment of goods. (Refer para 6.9)
If delivery has not occurred within 5 days after receipt of payment and confirmation thereof, the client must inform the customer service of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA by using the appropriate contact form.
A claim will then be filed with the transport company in order to establish the reason for lateness or non delivery.
Different case scenarios:
- Transport company does not find the shipping address or does not have the shipping address any longer.
Solution:- ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA transmits the complete address to the transport company. Parcel will be delivered within 48 to 72 hours.
A full online tracking facility is now available.
- The goods are not traceable. The transport company files a claim which can take up to 10 business days.
Solution:- If the goods are found, they will be shipped to the client. If goods are lost, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA proceeds to a new shipment or a refund of the order, subject to insurance being taken out by the client, according to the client’s instructions.
6.9 Delivery Insurance - Waiver & Indemnity. (Goods in transit). Errols tyres Online South Africa will not be held responsible for any or all lost goods in transit by their courier company. In the unlikely event of goods being lost, stolen or damaged whilst in transit, Errols Tyre Online South Africa offers the Online Shopper the opportunity to insure the invoiced value of the goods. This offer is placed in the order facility offering the Online Shopper the necessary cover. If tickedYES, the amount for insurance will be added to the amount total payable. If NO is selected, no amount will be added, and goods will be sent without insurance and at the sole risk of the purchaser. This insurance covers the Online Shopper, if selected, with 100% cover of the goods only, as listed on invoice, excluding on invoice delivery charges & insurance charges, if applicable. There is no excess payable and 100% of the goods are covered.Full Terms & Conditions of the insurance policy are available on request.
7. Withdrawal or Cancellation
The client has 7 (seven) days to withdraw or cancel the transaction after delivery.The withdrawal must be transmitted with full explanation for withdrawal by using the appropriate contact form, registered mail address to ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, P.O.Box 7538, East London, 5200, South Africa. Ordered and supplied goods must be unfitted.
7.1 Deadline for withdrawal
The client has 7 (seven) days to retract starting from the day the delivery notice was signed by the client.
ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will exchange or reimburse the client any unfitted product returned within this time frame, minus the return transportation fees.
7.2 Return of products
Arrangement for pick up and return of the products by the shipping company will be made by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA only. The client cannot ship products back him/herself.
Return fee (client will be advised the exact amount) per unit item, to be paid by the client, therefore the actual return fee charged to ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will be deducted from the total refunded by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA. This will include refunds conducted on initial free delivery to the online client. Products delivered free cannot be returned free of shipping charges. Products may be returned or exchanged only if they are in their original new and unfitted condition. (Refer as well to item 4.4 Refunds & returns for further details)
Deadline for refund.
Refund, less return fee, will occur within 15 business days after the products are returned to our premises. ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA reserves the right to inspect the returned products to ensure that they are in the same new condition as they were prior to delivery to the client.
The refund of orders paid by credit card will be made on the used credit card.
The refund of orders paid by bank transfer - EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) will be made by bank transfer.
ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA must be informed, by client, to confirm banking details for refund.
8. Product Warranty
The products supplied and sold by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA offer the benefits of a manufacturer’s warranty, specifically on manufacturing defects. The client has 7 (seven) business days from delivery date to verify that the products meet quality standards.
Specifically excluded are mileage warranties on offer by certain tyre importers & manufactures. As we are not a "brick & mortar business" we do not and cannot fit and balance tyres where a mileage warranty is offered by the importer or manufacturer.
ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA is committed to exchanging any defective product reported within the standard 7 day time limit:
a. The defect is noted at time of delivery. At that point, the client has 7 (seven) business days starting from the delivery date to inform customer services of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA.
b. The defect is noted during mounting, which has to take place 7 (seven) business days at the latest after delivery.
c. If the fitment centre or garage has had the components in their possession for over seven business days, deformation, contamination or damage during this period, will not be considered a valid reason for complaint.
Should any product become defective through normal usage and within the specified warranty period as stipulated by the manufacturer, the client must contact ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA using the contact form quoting their invoice number, proof of where fitment was conducted and explanation details of the suspected defective part. On receipt of the details, ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA will forward these details to the relative manufacturer who will deal with the relevant issue directly with the client.
Please note: No warranty or guarantee, supplied by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA, on purchased components by the client and fitted to client’s vehicle, may be passed on, by the client, should the vehicle in possession of the client be sold or disposed of.
All new tyres carry a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defect, limited to a minimum of 1mm tread depth across the tread area. (If any area on the tread surface is below 1mm, there is no claim) No claim will be entertained should any tyre be used for any other purpose but for normal road usage. Excluded are motor sport usages. Where, certain tyres, displayed on this website, have EU Tyre Labels, these are purely for approximate information purposes only. South African tyre manufacturers are at this point in time, not legally obliged to display this information by a label affixed to each tyre as most European countries do. Listed prices of tyres do not include illustrative rim and is for display purposes only.
Please Note: All new tyres are to be fitted by an experienced fitment centre as ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA and all new tyre manufacturers and suppliers will repudiate any claim whatsoever if incorrect fitment and fitment damage is evident.
Monthly Product Specials.
Any and all monthly price specials on offer are based on a first come first served basis. Most monthly specials are time limited offers and whilst stock lasts only.
All shock absorbers, struts, spring seats and gas lifts etc carry a manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defect of between 2 and 5 years, dependent on type, configuration and manufacturer. Certain components are limited to a mileage stipulation as well. No claim will be entertained if incorrect fitment is evident, nor will claims be entertained if components have been abused or used for motor sport. If the client has the know-how in fitting these components, they are to read the fitting instructions carefully and comply to these instructions. Instructions are normally inserted into the box containing such component. In the event of no instructions being supplied, the client may email ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA and one of our technical persons will gladly contact the client by land-line to assist. Alternatively, client may have these components fitted at an approved fitment centre, of their own choice, at their own cost.
Roll bars, Tow bars, Grill Guards, Side Steps, Sump Protectors and Spot Lights.
All these components carry a manufacturer’s warrantyagainst manufacturing defect. Mild steel components carry a manufacturer's warranty against rust. Stainless steel components carry a 5 year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects.
Mag or Alloy Wheels
All wheels are covered against manufacturing defect. It is the responsibility of the online shopper to inspect the goods on arrival and if found to be defective in appearance, Errols Tyres Online South Africa will make arrangements for the return of the defective item and replacement of the defective item will be arranged. All costs of new defective returns and replacement will be for Errols Tyres Online South Africa.
It is the resposibility of the purchaser to ensure a full and proper inspection of all wheels for delivery damage before signing off acceptance of the waybill. Errols Tyres Online South Africawill not be held responsible for any damage whatsover if the consigment waybill has not been endorsed, in front of the delivery driver, with damage advise. Signature on the waybill without any endorsnent indicates acceptance of all goods specified on the waybill as being received undamaged.
All wheels purchased must be carefully test fitted first onto the Online Shoppers vehicle, prior to actual tyre fitment, to ensure correct wheel fitment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that no damage is done to these components, whether self fitted or by another agency or fitment centre. Should the supplied wheels not fit the vehicle, the Online Shopper is to contact us immediately to advise us of this. Errols Tyres Online South Africa will immediately arrange for the return of the incorrect wheels and will either refund the online shopper in full or replace with the correct fitment wheels, Failure to comply with the test fitting first, and should resultant damage be evident, prior to or on return of the wheels, Errols Tyres Online South Africa cannot and will not be held responsible for such evident fitment damage caused by a 2nd or 3rd party. Damaged, scratched or fitted wheels will NOT be accepted for credit.

9. Legal Information
9.1 Collecting and selling personal data.
Information supplied and communicated by clients are destined to the sole use of ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA which will have to transmit all or part of the information to its business partner with the aim of order processing, order shipping or providing service to its clients. Personal data collected by ERROL’S TYRES ONLINE SOUTH AFRICA shall not be sold, shared or communicated to external contacts for advertising purposes. The client has the right at any time to access and modify his/her personal nominal data by contacting us.
9.2 Dispute management and applicable law.
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law, the RMI and the Consumer Protection Act, and guidance and adherence to this act.
