Slim bead filler → Improved bead durability
Slim bead fillers with optimized design reduce the stress around the tire's bead area, improving durability.
Foldable belt-end tape increased high-speed driving stability and belt durability
The ends of two steel belt sheets placed in between the rubber layers exert extremely high stress on the surrounding rubber while in motion. The foldable belt-end tape wraps around the edges of the lower steel belt layer and increases the driving stability at higher speeds.
Increased hydroplaning control
The rate of water dispersing through the straighter longitudinal grooves and the hydroplaning index are increased.
Wet grip test (braking distance)
Vantra LT shows 2 to 9% reduction in braking distance compared to previous product.
Increase stability in cornering
Optimized longitudinal groove positioning induced an optimized contact patch shape when cornering, increasing the stability.
