BF Goodrich HD-Terrain T/A KT

The HD-Terrain T/A KT is a light truck (LT) tire from BFGoodrich that is purpose-built for On-/Off- Road Commercial Traction. It is designed to meet the increasing demands of modern, high-torque pickup trucks, as well as work vans and SUVs that deal with severe surface conditions on a daily basis. The HD-Terrain T/A KT delivers the traction needed to navigate off-road conditions, gravel roads, and unimproved job sites, while also providing reliable performance on paved roads in both dry and wet conditions. Tested on actual fleets: the HD-Terrain T/A KT was engineered to survive in punishing real world use.

The HD-Terrain T/A KT boasts a new extra-durable chip and cut resistant compound that is molded into a symmetric tread pattern. This pattern is optimized for the intense torque required in HD trucks hauling heavy loads, providing grip from the center of the tread all the way to the shoulder. Large, stable tread blocks ensure reliable traction off-road, delivering biting edges to the terrain regardless of the approach angle. The shoulder design is serrated, featuring wide voids and "Mud-Phobic" bars interspersed along the tread to enhance traction and release compacted mud and soil. BFGoodrich's CoreGard Technology adds an extra layer of protection, with a bruise-resistant sidewall rubber and resilient deflection shoulder pattern designed to shield the HD-Terrain T/A KT from damaging protrusions.

The internal construction of BFGoodrich's HD-Terrain T/A KT forms the core of its focus on durability throughout, utilizing three polyester body plies for strength and puncture resistance. Two hardy steel belts overlap to support the tread, while a nylon reinforcement cap provides additional durability.
